Virginia live oak
Very large specimen (4 ft diameter largest section) located near SW fence in the back, lost in H. Andrew 1992, over with root ball up.
Another large specimen near SE corner of house. Eaves of house cut back twice to accommodate growth, finally made contact with house in 2004-2005. Contains resurrection fern and was seeded with Encyclia tampensis in fall of 2007 from the plant saved from destruction at St. Steven’s in the grove.

Stripped of leaves after H. Wilma in 2005. Regrowth of leaves 6 months later.
